There are thousands of sub-varieties with different colors. Some varieties have blossoms two inches in diameter and others ten to twelve inches. Some with bushes that will only grow a foot in several years while others may grow to 15 feet if left undisturbed in the ground. This tea is made from organic red hibiscus flower petals. It is a deep red colored, strong, sweet-tart brew, high in vitamin C and caffeine free. Ingredients: 100% Organic Hibiscus Flower Certified Organic by: Quality Assurance International (QAI) We recommend using mineral or spring water at 180 F temperature. Lower temperature water helps provide a fuller body to the tea. Use one level teaspoon of leaf for sixteen ounces of water, and brew for four minutes. Add fresh water for additional infusions.
